Begins Friday 24th February 2012 Â
How To Play :
Complete an entry form (ask the bar staff for this form), all you need to do is enter your picks each week and predict the winning teams and margins for the coming weekend’s games. The cost to enter is $5 per week over the first ten weeks, and all money received is returned as prize money the total entry fee will be $50.
Earning Points :
You’ll earn 5 points for correctly predicting the winning team and an extra 3 points if you get the right margin. Predicting a draw (at 80 minutes of play) is a gutsy call so we’ll give you 16 points. All Super Rugby and NRL and the Odd Publicans Choice (cricket probably).
Make Your Picks :
It couldn’t be easier. Bar staff will have weekly tipping sheets up at the board by the bar. Your options are to select either side to win by 12 or less, 13 or more or a draw (Draw at 80mins). You can also email them to saltydoginn@vodafone.co.nz or use the facebook link.
Deadline :
Your picks must be received by the bar staff prior to kick off for the first game of each round. Failure to submit picks will result in picking all away teams by 13 and over, however you will be ineligible to win the bar tab if this results in the highest score.
Prizes :
There will be a weekly winner of a $50 bar tab, for whoever scores the highest score of the round, in the event of a tie; the winner will be drawn from a hat.
At the end of the competition the entry money will be split into prizes as follows;

There is always a prize giving night with a great meal supplied by the kitchen
